Busy week to family Christmas

A last bit of inspiration at Totnes at the final Christmas market courtesy of the lovely stalls, mulled wine and Emma Vowles!

And after the busy week, a Christmas at home with a house full of flowers of course!

The only time of year it's acceptable to drink alcohol out of a mug (because it's shiny and new!)

Merry Christmas! X

The busiest day of the week!

Today saw the last of my workshops at the lovely Turtley Corn Mill! An amazing 19 ladies came along this afternoon, hectic but lovely and very very festive!

Everyone left with a beautiful door garland made by their own fair hands!

There was plenty of time for yapping as well as making!

The finished beautiful creations!

Another day of creativeness!!

This afternoons little creative trip was to the lovely Bridge restaurant at Mount Batten in Plymouth (well worth a trip if you haven't already!)
The eleven lovely ladies that joined me there came along to make indoor garlands for their stairs, mantelpieces or wherever they needed some home made festive hanging!
Once again the ladies cleverly produced absolutely stunning garlands, with fresh foliages, berries, cinnamon sticks and orange slices.

Some of these ladies are joining me again on Thursday, my final workshop of the week at Turtley again for a bit more door garland creativity!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Wreath Making at Turtley

Tonight saw the start of a busy week for me!
At The Turtley Corn Mill at Avonwick, I taught a lovely group of ladies how to make Christmas Door Garlands!

The concentration at some points was intense to say the least!

I have to say that the end products of the evening were absolutely fab and I think all of the ladies had a truly festive evening and went home with wreaths they were very proud of!

Roll on tomorrow for the Garland workshop at The Bridge Mount Batten!

In the mood for Christmas!

To be honest, I left Plymouth for Gloucester on Thursday feeling not a bit Christmassy, but I am pleased to say that I am returning today in the festive spirit!
I'm not sure if it was the holly wreaths everywhere, the pretty houses with festive lights, Bath Christmas Market, or my Christmassy walk around Cheltenham, or perhaps if I'm honest it was the amount of mulled cider and mulled wine I seem to have consumed over the weekend! But I am ready! Roll on Christmas!!!

Christmassy evenings!

Every Tuesday I have been holding a fun Christmas evening class with a lovely group of ladies in Oreston. We've had a fun few weeks and next week is out last week so we're finishing with a little party!
Here are a few of our creations! 😊

Getting a little festive...

So this week has been a little busy!
I made my first door garland on Tuesday evening with my lovely evening class ladies, which is now hanging proudly outside my front door!

Then off to The Turtley Corn Mill at Avonwick to decorate their bar and The Bridge Restaurant at Mount Batten on Wednesday, to spruce up their stairway with a lovely garland!

I'm starting to feel Christmassy, but unfortunately have neglected to start any other form of Christmas preparation !! Off to town tomorrow I think!

New Beginnings....

This week is the beginning of a new adventure for me!
Tomorrow, I'm leaving my job at H. Watts Florist in Plymouth, to enjoy and explore the world of flowers a little bit more.
Follow me on my new journey so I can keep you up to date with my flowery adventures and new finds!
